BLUE SESSIONS #2
22/02/2008
Club ESSENTIAL, Riga, Latvia
After the first run in Vilnius the BLUE SESSIONS Baltic tour of 12 events is setting the pace looking forward to the massive second round at the region's biggest dance venue - Club ESSENTIAL in Riga. On February 22 we shall again witness the strength and skills of 2 of the best DJs in the Baltics – IGNAS (LT) and ELECTRICANO (LV) - sharing the stage with an extremely hot world-class star. SANDER VAN DOORN‘s first set at club Essential comes at a time he's on the verge of exploding onto the world scene with an album the world has been craving for ever since he smashed it with his first release. Pushing the boundaries of dance music is something that comes natural to Sander van Doorn. His relentless attitude to what he does is the core essence to his astonishing success, both as a DJ and as a world-class producer. In just 4 years, and coming out of nowhere, Sander van Doorn is achieving stuff dreams are made of. Debuting in DJMag’s prestigious Top 100 poll at 32 in 2006 and then climbing 17 places to Nr.15 in 2007 indicates the power and popularity of this man. As a new year beckons, so does the release of Sander’s long awaited debut long player, and world – you are in for a treat! Surely - van Doorn is about to take things to the next level!
And since we've set the trade of pushing limits... Latvian house DJ and producer ELECTRICANO - head of Electricano Recordings, former resident of one of the biggest electronic dance music venues in Latvia - club Nautilus, has been out there since the nineties earning a reputation as one of the greatest DJs in Latvia today spinning alongside world superstars from the likes of David Morales, David Penn, Paul Jackson, Tim Deluxe and Junior Jack to Marco V, Tom Novy, Marc Hughes, Chloe Harris, Rowan Blades and DJ Crad in company with his fellow Baltic associates like Bogdan Taran and Happyendless DJ team. Ever since engaging in the business production-wis
